For over 27 years, my father—known in his craft as Gok—has dedicated his life to the art of jewelry making. Since 1999, he has worked tirelessly within his own atelier and casting house, producing for distinguished stores in the historic Beyazıt district. His hands have shaped thousands of pieces, each carrying not only technical precision but a quiet story of patience, discipline, and pride.

But GOK Jewelry is not only his story.

It is also mine.

I grew up in the rhythm of the workshop. As a child, my weekends were not spent elsewhere—they were spent observing. Watching molten metal transform into form, seeing raw material evolve into something meaningful. Over time, curiosity turned into admiration… and admiration into passion.

By the age of 12, I stepped inside the craft—not as a visitor, but as an apprentice. Summers in the Grand Bazaar were my classroom. Among masters and artisans, I learned not just how jewelry is made, but what it means to create something that lasts.

In 2025, we made the decision to establish GOK Jewelry in Melbourne—bringing with us decades of heritage from Istanbul to a global stage.
